You may pay with your credit
card, debit card or transfer your payment from your bank account via
PayPal. Please fax or email your registration form indicating you
would like to pay by credit card via PayPal. You will be emailed an
invoice for payment with instructions on completing your payment.
All payments are due prior to the
start of class.
Cancellation Information
Student Cancellation: Please do your best to notify us
at least 48 hours in advance if you will be unable to attend a
class, for which you have registered, so we may attempt to fill your
spot. We intentionally limit the size of the class for the
studentâs benefit. You are welcome to have a friend attend in your
place as long as you have notified us in advance. They will
need to either bring or fill out a registration form prior to the
start of class.
Workshop for Women, LLC Cancellation: In cases of
emergency or severe weather it may be necessary for Workshop for
Women, LLC to cancel a class. In the event of cancellation every
attempt will be made, using the contact information on your
registration form, to contact you regarding the class cancellation.

303-284-6354 to confirm the status of the class.

Student Information
How do I get there?
Workshop for Women, LLC is located at 47 W Alameda Ave in
Denver. We are ½ block west of Broadway on Alameda. See below for
more detailed directions. We are also conveniently located within
walking distance of the RTD Light Rail - Alameda Station.
Where do I park?
Parking for up to 6 vehicles is available in the rear of the
house accessible from the alley. You can also park across the street
in the Albertsonâs parking lot or along Byers Place (1 block north
of Alameda).
How long will the class be?
Classes vary in length depending on the content. Generally
classes range from 2 to 4 hours. You will receive a confirmation
email or phone call indicating the class you registered for, the
start time and the length of the class.
All classes will start and end promptly. Please plan to show
up a few minutes before your class is scheduled to start to handle
payment, etc.
What will happen during class?
All of the classes at Workshop for Women, LLC are hands on.
Each student will have their own set of tools to work with and the
facilitator will give you instructions, guidance and support
throughout the class.
What should I wear?
Please wear clothes that can get dirty.
We will provide smocks for those students who do not have the
opportunity to change clothes prior to attending class.
Please wear closed toes shoes.
Sandals and flip-flops can be dangerous and will expose your feet to
potential injury.
Leave all your valuable jewelry at home.
We will ask you to remove all rings and any hanging jewelry like
bracelets or necklaces. We do not want you to misplace your
valuables during class so it is best if you can leave them safely at
home.
Tie back long hair from your face.
Because of safety concerns, especially with the use of power tools,
we will ask that all long hair be pulled back and secured away from
your face. We will provide hair ties for those students who may
need them.
What should I bring?
Bring a smiling face and laughter. Workshop for Women will
provide you with everything you will need to fully participate in
the class.

Detailed Directions
From North of Denver via I-25
Take I-25 southbound to the Alameda exit.
Turn east (left) on Alameda. Go to the 4th stoplight,
which is S Bannock. Turn north (left) on S. Bannock. Make an
immediate right turn into the alley just after the 7-Eleven. Follow
the alley to the parking indicated for Workshop for Women, LLC.
From North of Denver via Broadway
Take Broadway southbound to Alameda. Turn
west (right) on Alameda. Make an immediate right into the alley
behind the Conoco station. Turn left into the alley behind the
houses. Follow the alley to the parking indicated for Workshop for
Women, LLC.
From South of Denver via I-25
Take I-25 northbound to
the Lincoln St exit (EXIT 207A), toward Broadway. Turn left
at the fork in the ramp. Turn north (right) onto S Lincoln
St. Go to Alameda Ave. Turn west (left) on Alameda
Ave. Cross over Broadway and make an immediate right turn
into the alley just after the Conoco Station. Turn Left into
the alley behind the houses. Follow the alley to the
parking indicated for Workshop for Women, LLC.
From South of Denver via Sante Fe Drive
Take Sante Fe northbound to Alameda. Turn
east (right) on Alameda. Go to the 3rd stoplight, which
is S Bannock. Turn north (left) on S Bannock. Make an immediate
right turn into the alley just after the 7-Eleven. Follow the alley
to the parking indicated for Workshop for Women, LLC.
From South of Denver via Broadway
Take Broadway northbound past where it splits
into two one way streets and places you onto Lincoln Ave. Follow to
Alameda (Look for the McDonalds on the corner). Turn west (left) on
Alameda. Cross over Broadway and make an immediate right into the
alley behind the Conoco station. Turn left into the alley behind
the houses. Follow the alley to the parking indicated for Workshop
for Women, LLC.
